The hotels location is central and great for transport links, however as is common for all city centre based hotels it meant a lot of street noise, drunks etc.

Location was ok, took us about 30mins to walk to the Opera House, but the sightseeing bus stopped quite nearby.

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Central Railway Station with links to all the main tourist points in Sydney.

The Central Railway Hotel is in a convenient downtown location, and the price is affordable, but these are the only two things that it has going for it.
